Vibe is 1-2 bedroom cottages with kitchens. WE WILL BE STAYING HERE and have a room block with a special rate! Easy to fit multiple parties into a two bedroom unit. single bedrooms (and two bedrooms) have a pullout couch as well if you want to get cozy. You can also book on airbnb/vrbo, rates are comparable to wedding block.

Vibe is family hotel. Kids are definitely around.

Hike that starts at the Hyatt and goes along the coast, would say easy couple mile hike

Māhā'ulepū Heritage Trail

Nice Shops &amp; Restaurants, Poipu Surf shop is a fave by many and when I say many I mean me and Sam. I also saw Brody Jenner there once.

The Shops at Kukui‘ula

Beach in front of the Hyatt, I mention because it has a cliff there people love to jump off, it ended with bruises for me, but still recommend for people who like that sort of thing.

McBryde & Allerton Garden, National Tropical Botanical Garden

Was worth it's own mention, great coffee, smoothies and acai bowls and unfortunately usually a line out the door bc everyone knows about it including now all of you

Little Fish Coffee Poipu

Cheap 9-hole golf course (it's literally $15 for a round). For serious golfers, you may want a higher end course. If you're looking for a cheap low-stakes, though also fun course, then this is for you! Fun Fact, Hayley got a hole in one on hole 6 here*. *She then learned if she paid $5 she could have won $10,000, so that was depressing, then we learned the camera was broken and the contest was not running, so then she was happy again.

Kukuiolono Park & Golf Course

The Na Pali Coast is a must see in Kauai. If you are up for a hike, the Kalalau Trail is 4 miles roundtrip without a permit and really all you need to get the picture IMO (but also get crazy and do the full 22 miles - whatever!) *Do look into a parking pass/or park &amp; ride though as early as the space is limited If hiking is not your thing you can also see the Napali Coast by helicopter and boat/raft/catamaran! *This is a moderate to hard hike, especially if it has just rained

Probably prettiest beach in Kauai, also where Bethany Hamilton got her arm bitten off by a shark, but she was way far out -- no worries!

Ha’ena Beach Park Tunnels

Very quiet and peaceful beach, there is a campground near that attracts some fun folks, one in specific let us know aliens were coming down that night, very helpful.

Anini Beach

𓂃 ོ☼𓂃 WEST SIDE 𓂃 ོ☼𓂃

Basically the Grand Canyon of Hawaii, definitely worth a visit. I really like the Waipoʻo Falls via Puʻu Hinahina and Canyon Trail, a 2.6-mile moderate-ish hike, it's pretty solid. Or you can do various other harder hikes that are also cool. Or you can just drive to the lookout if you don't want to hike at all and see a great view.

Waimea Canyon State Park

This is an amazing beach that always feels secluded-ish and that's because you need 4-wheel drive and have to drive 20ish mins very bumpy mins down a dirt road. If you're up for a little adventure totally worth it -- pack food &amp; drinks and hang for hours. For reference Sam almost murdered me when we got to the road, but now says was fully worth it :D

Polihale State Park

Cute old sleepy Hawaiian town. Recommend visiting on Friday night for Art night (friday night only)* where they have vendors and food trucks. Or check out a favorite sushi spots on the island, Japanese Grandma.

I recommend kayaking down the river and then hiking into the Secret Falls (huge falls that you can swim under) -- you can do with a group and guide, but you can also do it on your own by renting through Wailua Kayak and looking at a map or basically just following the crowd.

Q. Where should I stay?A. We’ll be staying in Poipu on the South Shore and hosting a few informal get-togethers nearby. The wedding itself will be in Lihue (about a 20-minute drive from Poipu). That being said, this is your vacation, stay wherever you want (the north shore is awesome). However, If you do stay on the south shore, odds are you will be seeing us running around from the beach to the bars.

Q. What's the best way to get around the island?A. You will need to rent a car, Uber exists, but I wouldn't count on it especially early in the AM/ late at night

Q. Will there be transportation to and from the venue?A. Glad you asked, yes we will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue from the front entrance of the Sheraton Kauai Resort in Poipu. Buses will leave from the Sheraton at 3pm to take you to the venue and be leaving the venue at 10pm to return to Sheraton/After Party.

Q. Can I bring my kids?A. We know you love your kids, we love your kids and we would love to see them on the island. Unfortunately, the wedding is adults only. You are more than welcome to bring your kids to Kauai, but please look into babysitting/caretaking during the wedding (we are looking into a recommendation for services!)

Q. What's the dress code?A. For the wedding think Island Formal Women: Maxi dresses in light fabrics (linen, chiffon, silk). Tropical prints, bright colors, or sunset tones encouraged. Wedges, chunky heels or dressy sandals are great (there will be some grass needed to walk on) Men: Linen or light suit, elevated aloha shirt (no tie needed), or dress pants with a button-up. Comfy loafers.

Q. What are some activities that I should do while I'm here?A. There is A LOT of activities you can find here -- Snorkeling, Surfing, Kayaking, Hiking, Helicopter, ATVs, Zip-line, Tennis, Golf, Sailing, Tubing through old plantation caves just to name a few.

Q. Is there a gym?A. Yes Kyle, there is. Our favorite gym is the <a href="https://www.poipuclub.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Poipu Beach Athletic Club</a>. If you are staying at Kiahuna Plantation, you have a free membership, otherwise you may need to look into day rates. PBAC also includes tennis courts as well as pickle ball (sorry Krystal), and a great kids pool.
